I'm not at all sure what to expect of Doujin Overload. Could someone please enlighten me? I know what Doujinshi is, but what's the actual event like itself?

I've been to their website, but I've not managed to gleen much from that. >_>

I went this year. :3
It was really small, but it was kinda exciting I guess ^w^
I think next year they will have a cosplay contest~ but i don't know.
Doujin Overload is mostly for the artists. So artists sell their artwork, display their art and do commissions there. I'm sure there will be more and other events next year :3

By the way, i was the Ritsuka (Loveless) cosplayer >3> And Krista (pinky-wuu) was the Soubi (still Loveless) cosplayer~ <3

DOUJIN OVERLOAD WAS TEH WIN.

Yeah. It really was, even though I had to leave early to go home. I got stuff for being in cosplay, and I was able to hang out with Krista and Berry and stuff without losing them in a sea of people. Berry and I even got to fight over getting some of our friend, Kylie's (aka: Keysha-chan on deviantart), art.

It was just kinda... Nice and relaxed. Definitely worth going to, everyone.

Yes, go to doujin overload, it is well worth it. They have random competitions during the day. I think I wandered around the room 4 or 5 times picking up art on every round. Must remember to have more money to spend, cause I loved Kylie's work. I did not cosplay but it maybe in the works next time. ;)

i MIGHT be there. MIGHT. money is the largest issue really. ISN'T IT ALWAYS.
i was approached by a dude at auckgeddon though, that invited me to sell there so i'm pretty tempted to come. (PLUS I'D GET TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN) D8 i have no idea what doujin overload is like, though.
but it'd be fun!
