Photoshoot anyone?

Hey CCC!

I'm trying to work on my photographer skills and was wondering if anyone wanted to have some cosplay photos done ^^

I've only ever really taken photos of animals and landscapes and I wanna work on taking photos of people and doing it this way means I get some before and after shots so I can see how I've improved in like six months time

I'll be picking afew different places to take photos like at the beach and in the gardens and maybe even the museum ^^

Is anyone keen?

Yes free photoshoots, though the pics might not be the best as I'm a noob XD

I would love to make a career out of this and if the chance comes I would take it but for now it's just for fun ^^

I was thinking we should do a photo teaching session for a while. But we seem so busy. I am really a noob, and need to experiment plenty. But I have read up a bit, and there are some easy tips, and some not so easy.

If you want to learn it is all about a bit of prep, and thinking what techniques specifically you want to try out. You can't retain them all at once. So you need lots of sessions ideally. And non-cosplay portrait shots of friends will still work for learning with.

I suggest composition as the first skill to learn.

I was thinking of a format where you could cover all the basics in one day, a few hours. But like just intro them really.

I would be keen to tag along, and pose, and experiment taking photos, and discuss various rules and ideas.

I was gonna do this to pretty much experiment with alot of things like lighting, composition and things like that ^^

I'm pretty much gonna teach myself (like I do with sewing) so that way I can develop my own style ^^
