Just got this one on email - looks like they're doing a similar deal to what they did last year. - about the right time for Auck geddon.

Important Flight Information

^JetSaver Light fares have no checked baggage allowance. Carry on
baggage limits, including size restrictions, will be strictly applied.

Prices based on payment by direct deposit for bookings through Jetstar.com.
For all card payments an additional $2 per passenger per domestic
flight sector will apply. $15 extra for domestic bookings per flight,
for flights booked through telephone (0800 800 995). Fares are web
only, one way, and non-refundable. Limited changes are permitted,
charges apply.

Sale fares are subject to availability, are for travel during the
travel periods stated on the sale page and are not available on all
flights or days.

drat. i'm driving to auckgeddon again this year, so flights aren't an issue, but drat if all the $39 ones are gone on the right days for everyone.
batsu: apparently it's basically that you have to make sure you turn up way early for check in. i haven't flown with them yet, but will be in a few weeks time for an auck trip, so we'll see how they are then. :/
