First ever CNZ Apartment warming?

So guys! Level10 and I found an apartment that we actually like, yey! And, since we met so many cooool people over Geddon weekend we thought we'd invite you all to come and 'eat, drink and be merry'. Mainly the drinking part. It'll be probably on Saturday the 14th of November, from like 6 or 7pm onwards. Just so we have time to actually move in and get all our stuff together.

It's at lower Nelson st (about a five minute walk from Britomart, woo!), there's street parking and the viaduct parking building (the big $7 overnight one) is like, 50m away. It's kinda small so we can't fit a sheetload of people in it, but we can try! And there's a little courtyard thing outside where we can fit people too XD

Snacks and non alcoholic drinks will be on us, bring other stuff (such as alcohols) if you want it, we're gonna be kinda skint for a while thanks to bond etc so can't really supply more stuffs. But there will be lots of snacks, because... we eat a lot? Also, bring any music and whatever you want, too!

So yeah! Any one want to come? Pweaaase? I should mention that it's about five minutes walk to Viaduct in one direction and five minutes to like, Aotea Centre in the other direction if any one wants to kick it in town Very Happy

Oh Kitten, you're an apartment dweller? I'm so excited to live in the cityyy, although it will mean no savings, most likely. Especially living that close to the Viaduct O_O

Yup, I dwell in Scene II - nexto foodtown. Yes, these things are money guzzlers, and lacking work atm is not helping my finances... stare

Still, the location is so moist, I can deal with it for now...

City life is interesting, I miss simple things like the sound of birds in the morning, and the nice silence of "urban" living (there is always a "hum" in the city). But here you have everything within a 10 minute walk, it s all so convenient.
Oh the prices one must pay (lol, stupid pun is stupid).

@Kitten, This place is literally twice the price of what we were paying in Christchurch (although... that was in Waltham which is like, P Houses and Skinheads) and is half the size. Still! So close to everything <3

@Duckeh, you will be in my (tiny) house. THERE IS NO ESCAPE.

@Moli, oh, I'll be home from abouuut 3:30, I just figured most people wouldn't want to come before 6 because... I don't know? I just didn't want like one person to turn up and it would be just us. Sittin' in the lounge. Awkward much?

Also; as long as your parents are cool with it. I don't want to look like a kidnapper D:

Anyway. Turns out there's a 24 hour burger/kebab place about a minute from our place. And a liquor superstore kekeke.

We now have most of our stuff together, it looks like a nerd cave.
