It does count as an anime song. You'd be amazed at how many One Piece fans HATE that song (I personally didn't mind it, but each to their own). I think a lot of fans were sick of them by that point since they'd not only done an ending song, but had done the PREVIOUS opening too (a remake of 'we are' that wasn't taken very well either).

Though I must admit I am a sucker for steel drums. X3 But that song got me through a rough patch a few months ago, that's for sure.

This is a hard hard question. Look at my last.fm the most played is Naraku no Hana (Shimamiya Eiko, Higu Kai OP). 8D Such a song full of hope and peace found after thousands of years of fighting. :)
