Fundraising for CSI, ADP and DSCAS ? hmmm Make tshirts? : D so people who may not be able to afford to cosplay at certain events maybe able to afford a tshirt and support Cosplay events by being staff or whatnot Razz

Maybe this isnt' as brainy as i thought XD but it was an idea to have tshirts for CSI or even ADP so people could wear them around town?

Or CSI tshirts that list the groups in the south island? Razz

XD cafe press does tshirts, bumper stickers and the like- it could offer a good way for people to help pay for future events so it's cheaper for certain things.

I'm pretty sure the t-shirts and badges you can get from Verboom are good enough in terms of something to wear. They provide a pretty good service to that I'm quite fond of.

Also I don't see the need for fundraising at all. ADP costs nothing to run and requires no profit.

Remember this: I do not want to make dunedin feel split or torn for where to go, i support ADP i just can't make it anymore due to RL friday night commitments, and i of course Support CNZ, and I support CSI - So this sort of thing was an idea i had because even if ADP doesn't NEED fundraising.. Maybe CSI and DSCAS do?

Now i know you weren't dodging this idea, so i'm going to gladly look up verboom in a minute ^_^ - sorry for my random tone i just woke up with a massive headache >.>

Well I don't know about DSCAS since that's your thing, but I don't really think CSI needs much fundraising either. I mean we don't run any sort of event that costs money and personally I'd feel uncomfortable fundraising for actual cosplays.

sorta agreeing with lennon here. i think that if you need funding, talk to static about it, as she's trying to get spcc listed as an actual charity to apply for funding grants etc.

however, since the bigger sections of nz's cosplay community (auckland, christchurch, wellington) do not need funding, i find it hard to see why we'd need it as we're the smallest of the centers.

Although I'm not actually opposed to having a t-shirt, I mean I had been thinking of having a CSI or CNZ t-shirt with my username on the back. But that's more of a personal thing I'd go get printed myself.But as I said before, I don't really see the need for funding.

T shirts cost a lot to print...
Also agreeing with Lennon.
We don't need to fundraiser at all... I mean what would we need money for?

I see the point - i think i offered it mainly so i didn't exclude anyone.. but tshirts are easy to make if it's cafe press...

and seriously, i would love to see people getting CNZ/CSI tshirts/badges etc

DSCAS probably might because it'll cost 12 bucks an hour for Kirkland lounge, and not everyone is made of pennies lmao. But i'll deal with funding/fundraising or membership costs at it's own site and meetings, and Lennon you're more than welcome to attend - as i've told others it's not a thing to be splitting anyone up, it's just other options at other times to hang out with people..

I consider anyone to have valued opinions welcome at dscas. :)

Besides >_> iv'e been out of the club making process for so long having a few adp members helping wouldn't hurt Razz

there are already cnz badges. C: and CSI ones, too.

i think i'm going to have to count myself out of dscas, because transport costs me too much each week to drive out to south d. as well... i'm not sure about the other dudes.

If you can locate the badge designs from one of the old threads, you can send them to Verboom Badges for a custom order. It's how I got all the ADP Badges made.

Problem is >_> i iz all out of money and will barely scrape enough out for the weekend lol. (DAG NAB LABOUR WEEKEND!)
