| 500 Day of Summer
I watched this yesterday, and absolutely loved it. It was both sad and happy, but for the most part it showed Reality, something most movies don't do.
Deschanel (Summer) performed extraodinarily well, especially for what I think her first role as a co-star. Unless Yesman counts.
And the music was fantastic!
Everyone should watch this, it's in our cinemas now.

| 500 Days of Summer is easily one of the best romance/comedies of this decade.
Both leads are so great in it too. It crackles and pops with a sort of fresh originality.
The scene with them running through the home furniture store is one of my favourites.
It's one of those films that fills you with an incomparable sense of warmth.
It makes you call warm and gooey, and isn't afraid to break your heart a little.
Didn't quite cry, but there was some moisture... |
