Okay. They need to be light but durable. I don't have much time, so they'd probably have to be made out of stuff I have at home now.
It's killing me. I've tried paper mache, but I simply can't get it into a point. HELP.

what i did for mine was cut up and roll up those clear plastic folders (the sort tammy was selling on her thread) for the spikes, then spraypaint it silver. the paint stays on well unless you bang it against something.
/knocked the point of one spike on a shop window when i got assaulted by rapist!squalo...

You could use foam (like mattress foam) & paper mache over that, that's what I did for spikey ends :)
