Need some opinions

Because I'm kind of failing here, I need help deciding on whether to have a skirt or shorts with Squirtle, and how to do that bastards tail as well as how to pull off his shades.

i would say yellow underwear and singlet. but that's a bit inappropriate.
(but does seem to give more of the shell shape)

and the tail--
uhh.. dunno.

shades- cut sheet plastic?

yeah, tight yellow shorts or underwear, either marker or some sort of thread attached to outline the shell parts.

If it was me I'd do a skirt with a large blue bow on the back, not to sure how you feel about giant bows

one of those things which you put to block breezes from doors, like a mini snake can be used for the tail, cover it with blue, and as long and some sort of blue / green garment worn under te yellow shorts/ underpants.

Okay. To clarify. The shorts/skirt/whatever will be blue. There will be no yellow as it already has a place on the design.

As for the tail, do it like a pillow ; cut shape/stuff and stitch or paint the swirlies..

And yeah - look up Kamina tutorials for the glasses maybe? :3

As for the tail - make the shape of the whole tail (ie, an ovally thing) out of whatever fabric you're using, then stuff it like crazy -- then you go through the agonizing process of machine stitching the swirl in there. :) That's how I did the curve liney thing on my Kero ears and it worked pretty well. n_n

Mmm. I was originally going to use jeans, but the ones I have are too dark to go with the blue I have. I was thinking shorts because I have so much material left over.
