I want to get as many people into the book as possible! In as many costumes as possible! So we should do lots of photoshoots!

uhhh New Zealand is an British Colony so it's not totally random.

Celebrations rarely need justification

I wish we could steal more celebrations Bastille Day, El Día de los Muertos etc etc I don't care if Halloween is American it's FUN!111 nodnod

Yeah, I guess, but IMO [and yes, because I used "IMO" I lose this thread] it's still completely inane, at least you could do it at new year/ chinese new year if you really needed to play with fireworks that badly.

yknow those chinese dragon puppet things they have at fetsivals? Cant remember the name XD But like, a huge long cat and tac gnol dragon pupets with us as pupetiers (sp?) and also having a giant battle (aka catnorok) in cuba or around oriental parade

I don't think they hire them out.
I mean, they are pretty expensive to buy in the first place.
The only place I know of that has them is either the Anglican church or the Chinese sports and cultural center. I could use my contacts via the dance troupe to get them but I highly doubt they will let us.

They are just called 'Chinese Dragons' used in the Chinese Dragon Dance.
Also they are pretty hard to handle in particular the head and the tail, not to mention you would then need the chinese drums, cymbals etc to go along with it. Oh and a person who knows how to actually do the drums.

It involves lots and lots of running around! I've done the dance before and geesh it kills your legs.

Lots of good atmosphere for photoshoot opportunities along with lots of space for picnics etc.

After exams I'll try pull together another post-exams meetup, maybe another picnic in Frank Kitts (because that was nice. Maybe I'll bring out my guitar again xD). And then I'm also hoping to arrange another 'Official' Cosplayers' Picnic sometime in January :) With help, of course.

ok im gonna be setting up a pool party for the end of the year once the weather heats up its gonna be cosplay so either come dressed in cosplay or have cosplay swim wear
this could be either a swimsuit a char wears in the anime or a normal outfit modded into swimwear so yeah more info closer to time
