Loves! I dont care what ppl say about her, the girl's got talent! Acting and singing wise. Her personality is quite infectious to watch. I love her. Her songs are deadly catchy. The climb, when you look at me, bottom of the ocean, party in the usa, etc...

Her songs are really catchy, they get stuck in my head a lot. But that is where my musical realtionship with her ends. She is good for lulz :3

I'm really not a big fan. The cover of her new album makes me cringe.. That pouty face she does makes her look sort of constipated... Maybe it's just me.

I think we shouldn't judge her.
We don't know the full story, we only get the dirt that the media find on her.

I'm not a huge fan but still, she has done some good work.

Good side: Her music is really catchy and the songs are actually quite good. The media puts way too much pressure on her and critisise (I can't spell) every little thing she does.

Bad side: She can't sing that well and even though she's been in the spotlight since she was younger she should be more carefull with what she does. She knows the media is watching and doing all the things she does gives them more of a reason to say mean things

She's a 'role model' for millions of kids ranging from 5 - 15, most of them don't know any better. If Miley does something stupid (like those racist photos she released) all these kids that look up to her is going to think it's okay to do the crap she does.

Wow I can't believe I'm gonna defend Miley....in some aspects.

First, the role model status thing is a pain in the ass to me. I don't see why anyone should be a role model ever. Because it means you're putting someone on a pedestal and saying they're better than the average human. When in reality all of us are gonna mess up and do stupid things.

Especially at her age where its the age where you explore sexuality. Her audience may be young but she isn't, if she's prevented from growing up naturally we may get another Michael Jackson. Seriously!

Even worse is what she's done is so incredibly blown out of proportion its just embarassing to be human when you see others freak out about it. Seriously once again. Were her "topless" photos tasteless? not even a little, I'm angered by the fact that people even for a second consider it tasteless. I see that shes young sure.. but it was just an artsy shoot that we have seen billions of times before by people (men and women) of all ages. its just shes owned by disney.

The racist photo as well. Wow.. it was so barely racist and I'm admittedly quite prudish when it comes to this subject as I do despise racism to such a large expense. but seeing the said photo, you can tell shes just joking with a group of friends pulling the asian eye look (and come on, who hasn't done that) oh... and also one of her friends happened to be asian. I normally hate that excuse "oh but my friends are *insert race here*" but in this case the person of said race is actively in on and enjoying the joke. It seems that oddly it was white mainstream media that was most upset about this. Which to me sounds more like they're covering their own racist beliefs ("oh im totally not racist..look.. i hate it...see?")

But now to the attack. Shes one of those cash cows we've seen before, like Hilary Duff once was and she really doesn't have anything I can see different going for her other than her genes, which arent that great anyway. Her songs while catchy are poorly written, poorly sung and just aren't really seperate from the next song on the radio.

And her acting is very much the same over the top Disney performance you can get and at the height of her career she may just be another megan fox.
