[ACB '09] piano medley!

i didn't end up making it to ACB in the end, but since i volunteered for entertainment, i wrote a piano medley specially for it... and i thought i'd post it here 'cause idk. better late than never? enjoy!

@Lucy: ...we're actually flying up another performer from Blenheim. If we get funding, and approval from rest of committee who I have not consulted before proposing this and will apologise profusely to after but they will probably rabu u too, we *might* be able to fly you up to do your thing. It would involve transporting your own gear though - I'd try and find you a keyboard or piano up here, but if you wanted your sax or anything that would have to come with you.

t-that would be kind of amazing. ;; i can play a wide range of stuff on various instruments... though my mains are piano, saxophone and electric guitar. i've also played in front of crowds 2000+ during concerts so I HAVE EXPERIENCE? 8DDD plus i could write a few more medlies, especially waltz ones (have had a few ideas for a while).

it's all the piano... we were really lucky to get a restored erard (german piano), which has a really beautiful sound. it's in need of a tune, but i love the thing to bits. ;A;

i guess arranging is just sorta second nature now, i write all the music for my saxophone/trombone orchestra & have been piddling about playing tunes by ear for years. not horowitz, but... i have my fun! 8D <3

I'd join your for a piano duet sometime :3 I don't take lessons anymore, but at least I can still call myself a grade 8 pianist no matter how much I suck, currently.
