I'm urgently seeking a Short Purple/Lilac wig for my Yuki Nagato cosplay to borrow or to buy for sunday Auckgeddon.

I've left it too late to order a wig, silly me, so I desperately need help D;

If anyone has a wig I could borrow/buy to suit this character:

The trade me wig looks cheap and tacky and im not willing to pay over 40$ for a wig :/

you could search around ebay because you have just enough time.i know some people can get it to you in just a few weeks if you pay a little extra. other than that it's kinda your own fault for leaving it too late, so yeah. I would ask my friend to borrow hers because her's is literally perfect for her yuki cosplay but she spent about $80 on it and she won't let anyone touch it ;P

though they are kinda pricy. If you odn't mind paying an extra $10 or so go for the first one my friend got that one it's very nice.

//headdesk/// all too expensive, 29.99 is ok but US DOLLERS thats 60$ for the wig plus the 30 odd$ they charge for postage

Trade me is hard cause they all charge too much, i'm spending ABOUT 30 on a wig which blows out my budget (since i can't dye my hair)

Eh, you could try looking in asian stores around your city, sometimes they have (cheap tacky and nasty) wigs for as little as $5 though you'd need to either trim style or even dye some of them to get them right. (that adds to the expense though it gives you the chance to get the colour right or to get the cut right etc)

*edit, you could also get two and combine them to bulk them up and possibly make them look less cheap and tacky

You probably can't *get* a nice wig that doesn't look cheap and nasty and is the right style/length for much under $30. Not in 1 month anyway, unless you're looking on trademe everyday and luck upon a bargain or can get something through ebay ultra cheap.

Goodluck though, hopefully someone can lend you something and you don't have to spend anything!
