What are some "anime" dances? Like HHY, and Motteke sailor fuku, what are some others?

Re: Anime dances By Grassangel. 27/05/09, 01:16 pm
There's the Parapara dance that goes with one of the recent Naruto end themes called Bacchikoi. And there's the Caramelldansen, of course. There's the Nyan Nyan dance from Macross Frontier and couple others from that series too... Seikan Hikou, Watashi no Kare wa Pilot and I think pretty much all of the insert and open/end themes have dances to them.
That's all the recognisable ones that I can think off the top of my head. There are also anime musical dances, of which only Bleach's Bengara Koushi and Sayonara spring to mind. Those aren't as recognisable, but they are rather fun to watch.

Left is Remilia, and right is Sakuya, both from the Touhou Project series. ^_^ That dance looks really familiar, but I can't place my finger on it. :/
Dance... hmmm.... there's that dance in the ED sequence from Nakizaka Haruka no Himitsu.

I am going to learn Love and Joy if it kills me
I want at least one shot at my life where I look coordinated while dancing xD (plus it looks fun. lolwhut, not the other way around? xD)
Edit: Some parts are easy! There's ONE arm bit where it's like... WOAH SLOW DOWN PLEASE (but even slowed down it's hard to learn >w>)

Vocaloids do alot of cool dances~! like Love and joy~(it isnt that hard...is it?) just look them up on youtube, they have mirrored and slowed down versions, also para para and that Hahuri suzumiya dance for the wii (dancing game)
Try having a look to see if there is anything you like :#

Re: Anime dances By _Yuki. 26/08/09, 09:15 am
Oh... Love and Joy? I've learned that. It's a neat dance, but I look really gross doing it and as a Haku, as in the shy, unassuming one, I don't think the dance is quite right... I still like it. It's pretty exciting and upbeat.
Hmm. Then again, there have been Darth Vaders and such doing the HHY dance which is really quite a sight.
_Yuki EVEN MORE EPICLY EPIC

OH LOL. Any of you going to Well'Geddon next year? We could do a group outside! 8D
I found the original that the Miku version was traced off: [here]
The one part I can't to properly is the hand wave-y coordination thing at the end of the bit after the chorus orz I'm too unco! D;

Re: Anime dances By mystix-candy. 28/08/09, 03:11 pm
If the anime dances seem too hard, may I suggest Para Para? I recently found an esnips page with the mirrored steps to the dances ^-^ --> http://www.esnips.com/web/ParaParaDancing And most of the songs can be found here ^-^ --> http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/1368
But i guess there's always the option of making one's own steps to an anime song~

Ah! Saikyou Pare Parade... I just learnt that.
Mirrored and slowed first, over and over again, then just mirrored is how I learn.
Or I write the steps down and look at them when I'm bored.
