Oh maan. I played this game for a year or two. Giving it up was probably the best thing that I ever did, but I still miss it so much ;_;

Lol. This game got me through my first summer after moving to the states - I hadn't yet made any *real* friends, so my online friends kept me company. I quit after I came back to NZ, and haven't been back for any reason other than to sniff their air and see what's changed.

Yeah i agree, i wanna play Worgen, luckily dath is a normal realm so i can have the 2 factions on it. Have they announced classes for Worgen/Goblins or any of the new race/class possiblities?

Yeah man. Pally's are the only healing class I don't have one of! And I have a shaman, but it's boring. I might delete it and roll a dwarf one come cataclysm. :3

I'm still not sure what my Worgen is going to be. Perhaps a lock, or mage.

Worgen though I might actually level, but I already have a druid that's above level 15. Which is an achievement, me getting a non-DK alt above level 15. So I don't really want another druid.

Yeah, wtf's up with that?
Then again, you can't exactly have an undead pally, and orcs aren't supposed to have "smartsies" that you'd need to be a pally (strictly lore-speaking)
That leaves trolls and tauren..

If you wanna rejoin the WoW horse, wait till Cataclysm. ^^
With the way the ball's rolling, leveling will be easier, mush easier to get epic~er epics at 80(5) etc etc.

Also, I had heard about Cataclysm just about the same time I was about to pre-order Aion. Tough decision, I must make.

Oh and for the sake of the topic, I was a level 80 Blood Elf Warlock on Dreadmaul (PvP FTW!)

I did the free server change from Frostmourne to Dreadmaul awhile back, because a few of my mates were changing.

Baad choice on my part. T_T
I missed my guild and since so many people took up the free change, the lag moved from Frostmourne to Dreadmaul.

Heh, today I found out that my friend that quit, began super health-buff (Running everyday, doing weights, etc.) restarted playing WoW. He even said "I'll never play it again".
ALSO, 2 of my mates that dissed me everytime I mentioned WoW decided they would play WoW.

All the more reason to restart, I guess...

I realise this may be reviving a dead thread, but WoW is most certainly not dead, and I'd like to have my two cents.

Recently I've stopped playing. It's left me with more time than I know what to do with. Happy to say I haven't really had many withdrawal symptoms. I started playing back in September of '05. Main reason for playing was to continue the story that Warcraft III left off.

I must say, I've become increasingly disappointed with the way that the folks at Blizzard are handling things. The end of WotLK in my opinion was rubbish, utter horseradish. They're playing around with the set things within the game: Bloodelves using the light, rather manipulating it to their will. Well there's a religion killer for you (not wanting to get into real religion talks here, just ingame XD). And from what I read above, Tauren Paladin? You've got to be kidding me!? I wasn't too impressed with the Worgen/Goblin thing either. Goblins in WoW have always been in it for the money. They're the neutral party that does things based on economic gain. I don't have too much negative to say about Worgen at this stage, except the fact they've never been a big part of Warcraft Lore. I always thought Pandarean's would be fun (could easily make their racial too, like in WCIII: FT, Storm, Earth, Fire (which would function similar to a mage's mirror image).

I've also found that there is now a less inclination to conversing and finding new friends. Having raids which no longer require large raid groups (and therefore guilds) and, despite it being a useful tool, the Dungeon Finder simply makes runs fast, and with no conversation.

Oh well, that's my rant for the day (perhaps I should have put this in the rants forum XD). Despite all this, I still one day would like to cosplay my first and most faithful character, Sorien the Paladin wearing full Tier one (Lawbringers).

I USED to play Warcraft. I wish I still could, I really do. Warcraft is heaps fun(even tho I didn't know what the smeg I was doing half the time.. xD;;). Unfortunately, my account got haxored and I never got it back. It sorta put a dampener on the whole 'get a new account' thing.
No doubt I will make another account some day, but for now, I'll just sit back and watch my friend play on the weekends when she comes over. ^-^ <3

I'm going to oh-so-subtly convince my mom to let me play either her alt or what used to be my main so I can explore the whole Cactalyst thing. And maybe level up some.
