| I associate Chrno from Chrno Crusade a lot with Vincent Valentine. I can't post any pictures right now, but basically, these guys remind me of each other in the following ways-
- Spoiler:
-Vincent wears a red headband; so does Chrno.
-Vincent wears a red cloak; Chrno wears a red coat which falls around him in a similar way.
-Both have slept in/on a coffin for long amounts of time; thirty years for Vincent, fifty for Chrno.
-Both have red eyes.
-Both have demonic forms that present themselves in similar ways in the final parts of their respective series/games; Chrno's demon form has bright, lemon yellow eyes, tattered black wings, a skin tight shirt, horns, and facial marks resembling scars. Vincent's demon form has the EXACT SAME EYES, tattered RED wings, a skin tight shirt, his hair becomes a large, spiky mass like a crown (as opposed to having demon horns), and similar facial markings.
-Both have failed to save their loves from tragic deaths.
-Both, before being sealed in their respective tombs, have been part of corrupt organizations.
-Both can be overcome by their demonic urges to attack those they love and lose their minds.
-Both have fallen in love with those they see their old romances in (Shelke and Rosette)
-Both leave their loves behind when they go off to fight their final battles.
-Both are hunted by organizations with five obvious heads; and one figure who ruined each of their lives (For Chrno; Aion is the life-ruiner, Sheda, Rizelle, Jenai and Videl the other heads; for Vincent; Hojo/Weiss is the head; Nero, Shelke, Azul, and Rosso are the others)
-Both of these guys are in league with organizations out to protect the worlds they live in.
There's my list of 'Why Vincent and Chrno are similar'. Hope y'all see why I find them to remin me of each other. |

| C.C. from Code Geass and Amber from Darker than BLACK, They are the SAME character! Both have the green hair, gold eyes, same hairstyle, similar facial structure, mysterious link to series protagonist's past and present, potential love interest for series protagonist, has motives that are reasonably questionable. Exist in a series where Pizza Hut promotion is very prominent.

| Another random comparison from me: in terms of history, Yuri from Shadow Hearts and Dante from the DMC series are veeery similar in backstory.
Let's summarise them both together, shall we?
Character's father goes off to fight evil overlords trying to conquer the world. Father dies, but the attempt works, however, evil overlord sends horrible demon army to kill character's mother. Character, in a fit of steaming demon rage, discovers their powers, then runs away from their broken home and the town they've destroyed.
Character then travels from town to town, hunting down the evil overlord responsible for having their mother killed. After a long journey spanning many years, character find the evil tower of a demon overlord. They, with the help of their new lady-friend, climb the tower and kill the overlord. A bigger, badder overlord then comes up and tells them that while they've done well, there's still stuff left to do. After some more time, they kill the badder overlord, who then supposedly dies.
Time passes, character settles down somewhere, losing contact with lady-friend, either through death or just not being friends any more. After a while, chick resembling character's dead mother shows up, ruins character's life, and then drags them on another adventure. They meet the supposedly dead worse overlord. Stuff happens; and character ends up killing another overlord. The end. |

| Luck Gandor from Baccano! is totally Sosuke Aizen as a 1930's Gangster.
If one watched Code Geass after Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations, they'd wonder what Syaoran(Suzaku) and Kamui(Lelouch) were doing in a mecha anime... and how Fai(Clovis) became a prince and Kamui's(still Lelouch) brother.
On that note, I always thought of Gino as Tamaki with a mech... didn't help that there was a character in the cast that was actually named Tamaki though. |
