Try Trademe, there are a couple of sellers that have good wigs, though they don't always have listings. 'Zangetsu studio' (trademe name)has a good variety.

What I do is look at party wigs
(cheap and if need be you can colour them ^^)

In Wellington you can get decent quality though quite thin wigs from Mr Thankyou.

They have a very good long haired white/platinum wig, as well as similar in a fluro blue, medium brown, and blonde. As well as some silly wigs. They're all like $50 or something.

The one at sylvia park mainly has long-ish $60 ones... but some are cheaper.
