God, 12 days. I really need to figure out what I am going to do for my Knife, and source the gloves.

Does anyone have a suggestion of a place to buy leather gloves? (Preferably genuine imitation - real leather is expensive -_-)

On the plus side, looks like I can get quite cheap nice-looking leather gloves from trademe, so thats one issue solved.

I take comfort that for me this is 9 days, I don't know why, I'm practically sorted with everything /ignores trident that needs finishing
buuut I am panicking for my friend I'm going up with, she told me on msn she has almost finished making her pants (which she has been doing for 3 weeks) she hasn't even started her top or her weapon, I shouldn't be so worried for somebody else's cosplay

90% prepared for geddon! .3.
Just need to get cash out of bank, make a pikachu ear, iron alice costume, make the basement look pretty and stock the downstairs fridge with yummy snacks for auckgeddon sleepover, print out schedule and charge phone/camera.

I'm so nervous though. ;-; First con ever.
