At any point throughout the day you can make your way to the ground floor of the Hunter Building (Gate 2, Kelburn Parade) where one of our Liaison Officers will discuss with you all your options, or answer any questions for you about your programme of study at Victoria University.

There are specially scheduled free buses leaving from platform 9 at the railway station at 8.15, 8.30, 8.45, 9.00, 9.15 and 9.30am.
Buses 18, 17, 22, 20 and 23 also run to the Kelburn Campus
Or take the cablecar up to the third stop.

There will be free stuff. Oodles of it. Pens, candy, thingy-bobs, lips-gloss, more candy, pamphlets, brochures, maybe a sausage sizzle.

Hopefully your school has already started organising a feild trip for the 7th formers - but 6th formers should totally come and check it out too if they can wrangle it!

It might not be for you. University is not for everyone. There is some stuff that a university just doesn't do well - it's no good for handson, technical training in something like cooking. But for the pure selfish joy of bettering yourself, learning about the world like it's going out of fashion or taking a few years to really find out who you are, you just can't beat university.
Plus, my undergraduate years were the EASIEST years of my life. University is easier than fulltime work, easier than high-school.
