Bringing my guitar To Sat of ChChGeddon

Hey, so Im bringing my guitar on Saturday to jam during the downtime of ChChGeddon and also
afterhrs at Charlie B's Backpackers. I've already got some Glee songs (for Glee singalongs) but
if you're interested I'm keen to practice some more recent songs too- so let me know if you have any requests.

Huge UPDATE 17/3/10- I will be playing the Glee Songs first,
then Mandie Chan has kindly agreed to play the Pop Songs/Requests afterwards

Oh good question. I wanted to do a semi-oganised meet-up that didn't clash with anything major, but Im having trouble locating the ChCh event schedule.

Ah, thanks Saboteur. How does 2pm on Saturday sound?
Any clashes with photo shoots?

I haven't been there before but Probably meet up somewhere, where there's food/dining area and head to a quiet corner.

Yeah, I've seen Michael Winslow a few times, and I can catch his act at Welly if I really wanna... but trying not to miss the ice-cream eating comp and the Kamehameha contests.

Sure. Though its only a beginner/cheap guitar, I would love to hear you play, I'll bring the music with chords so you can play for us.

Proud Mary's tough but Im practising it to make it much better. Actually Mandie, do you want to have a go at this one? It'll be the Tina Turner version

As for secrets, I dont know it well so Im gonna need your help singing it, but I just played through the verse and the chords are easy to play.

I'm just learning Accidentally in Love- It's my current favourite song!! especially after I saw the Julia Nunes vid for it on Youtube (didn't really know it before). Oh now, you have to play this for me.
What else have you got? I'll print out some lyrics sheets to sing along with you.

YAY!!! I love Glee songs so that is a good plan ^_^

um... I have no idea lol ~~I haven't actually played my guitar in 4 months lol~~ I'll find my music stash and PM you if you'd like (then you can pick them and post them up here)

On another note, if you have any songs you want me to play just being the words + Chords and I can do it on the spot~

just looked through my tabs on the computer. Most of mine are Nickleback, the Fray, and random ones like 'Walking on Sunshine', 'Upside Down', random Disney ones (old and new), 'beautiful day' -U2, 'When september end' etc. The others on here aren't so well known though...

Do you know the tune to " Go the Distance " ? from Hercules, could probably help out with that song if do well with One Republic~
