I'm hoping to find someone willing to make Belle's blue dress for Auckgeddon for me. I know it looks to be a basic sun dress, white petticoat and shirt but my sewing skills aren't up to scratch for this. I would prefer someone in CHCH but only because I can have personal fittings but if you live anywhere else I really don't mind too much. If you're interested in taking on this commission then could you please provide a rough estimate on what you think it'll cost me (just so I know what to save up to). Thanks!

I'm in Wellington, but will happily take it if nobody closer takes it on. Materials deposit would be about $60, and labout would be $67.

That's actually pretty cheap!! I'll definitely keep you in mind if there's no one closer. Just so I know, how would it work? I give you money for materials (or you get materials first then let me know how much) and my measurements and you make it, keep track of hrs worked etc... I've only had 2 period dresses made by someone else so I'm not really up with how commissions work.
