First off, I'm a tad surprised that no topics have arisen since the 10th, (EDIT: I saw the Prestige topic, but it wasn't really about talking about the game) so I decided I would make one. ^_^
Bit of story telling:

I bought the game on release (GG school), just the standard as I didn't have the mesos to afford Prestige or Hardened. Ah I got it on 360 by the way.
Finished the campaign, restarted on Veteran and now I play the multiplayer and Vet. here and there.

Personally, I believe the Call of Dutys (Duties...?) have one of the best campaigns of all time. OF ALL TIME. They just feel like cinematic adventures rather than games, because if you hadn't noticed before hand, but there are barely any cutscenes where you cannot control the camera.
And MW2 outdoes it's predecessor 10 fold. The graphics are awesome, the sounds are realistic and AWESOME, and the plot...

Wow! The plot is AMAZING! I won't divulge anything yet, as I want to see if anyone else wants to talk about it, rather than me just Spoilers tag something no-one knows anything about. (Actually, isn't that the point of spoilers tags? @_@)

But yes, Call Of Duty, has to be the most kick ass game series EVAH, but because I'm poor and can't afford I have to make do with only the first Modern Warfare~

Nah, jk~ I'll probably do the same ... lock my self in my room when I finally lay my hands on it ... might skip a few exams XD A few of my mates said the gameplay and everything was kinda the same and that it sorta sucks (but screw them anyway)

Yea I kinda GG'd going to school on Tuesday and Wednesday just to play it but hey, it's my education. xD

I would absolutely love to say I'm a fan, but I've only completed the forth. BUT I've played the others.

MGS was probably the first game I ever played, been a die hard fan ever since!

Is it better than Halo? ..almost nothing can beat Halo 3 in my opinion

Yep, I clocked it on the first night of owning it. xD Coffee = Makes time fly

When it comes to Halo vs. CoD, I believe they are better in different areas, but perhaps the game that requires more skill is Halo. I even still play Halo! It's soo much fun!

With CoD, it's whoever fires first, wins. In Halo, it's who has more skill. Once, I out BR'd 2 people at half shields when they had Assault Rifles (Not to brag, but it's pretty slick xD)

Them 31 hours were mainly online. I think 6 are invested in campaign? And 5 in special ops.

The online is really fun. That's being generous when you ignore the 12 year old racists/wanna-bes/etc. Also, people complain about camping ALOT. With the gameplay of 2-3 bullets from anything and everything kills, camping is the only way to survive.
I camp for the lulz and the kills. xD

YES! It is addictive! Very muchly! Even though I have exams this week and next, I've been going to sleep from 5am to 12pm then MW2-ing. Like I use to for WoW.... Yet more fun!

When you get MW2, I guarantee you will love it. Gameplay, plot, everything.

Had a run-in with any team-killers? Hate those *censored* but they can be incredibly lulzworthy at times~

Are there any trophies? I have one more stupid trophy to get for WAW ... damnit .. its that stupid Downfall one on Veteran >.> I just get frustrated and switch it off, I hate it.

I have an exam tomorrow morning >.> I know I won't pass!

Thankfully, you can only TK in Hardcore and even so, I haven't yet.
But in Halo... Woooo.... Too many TKers it's not funny T_T

As do I, is it English? I hope I pass as I want to get into year 12 English xD

EDIT: Forgot to add, yea there are achievements/trophies. Basically complete XX on Veteran. Ah and there are Special-Ops ones aswell, and a few randoms like kill 7 chickens.

I wish they put in achievements/trophies for online. Like how Halo has them.

My brother ..honestly he is like the team-killing master, he said he gets bored with just playing normally so he started doing it ... hate him, it sucks because hes really good and i can't beat him >.>

I swear I should of put more effort into English this year... But it was soo much fun not doing work! Even the book we were assigned to read... Didn't read it. Too boring.

Although, I passed the practice exams without reading the book soo...

I usually team kill when I get team killed, my weapon gets stolen or the people I'm with are total A-holes. Reminds me of the time I no-scoped a team mate, he didn't boot. He stuck me, I booted him! xD

EDIT: And to counter the butt-hurt I may be causing due to 'infringing a rule', I'm basically making conversation with my only replier.

Don't worry, I don't think there are many CoD fans on here, who knows most of them are probably locked in their rooms right now drinking coffee and playing the game XD

I failed one of my english essays .. but thats because we had to do bloody four and they only gave us two flippin' hours. Oh yip, I think I'll just pull a miracle out of my @ss and complete all of them >.>

I wasn't at school for the film that we watched because I was sick and *not* playing games~

I have to go sleep soon, I'm gonna wake up early and revise more .. such a geek I know!

For my English exam, one of the essays was on a book I didn't read. All I did was read the noted form the teacher emailed us and made that my essay.
Stupid thing is, I thought I had found an excellent topic... Until it came to the writing of the characters name. I forgot the characters last name! So every time I wrote 'T.J', there was a gap.

I don't think you'll be graded down for not having a last name, I didn't put the characters last names in ... I think. I'm cramming for Maths, a subject I have a decent chance at passing. But Science ... crossing my fingers and looking for any four clovers or rabbits foot I can find!

What are the weapons like in MW2? Are they still the same? Or more epic then my mind could ever comprehend?

Most of the weapons are from CoD 4, with a few new ones.
The new weapons though, are beyond comprehension. xD

EDIT: Forgot to add, but I have 47/50 achievements for MW2 now. Just needta do a couple more special ops.

And I've decided whole heartedly that I'm going to the marry the developers of MW2 despite the fact that I'm probably a good 20 years younger than them XD

As much as I loved MW2 campaign, I would like to see a little more new content. Another race to the helicopter, another ghili suit mission that felt no different, breaching was fun though. I really think that they repeated a little too much MW1 stuff. And the mission with the guerilla warfare thats forcing you to keep pushing through was far to frustrating. It was just tedious and trial and error. And the plot was pretty convoluted towards the end, then again, very few games this year haven't been that way. The again, I really marked out at certain moments like

Agreed! I loved them moments.

Considering it is a sequel, it's understandable that IW would reuse some of it's content. Other than that, it is a very wicked game indeed.
