FireFly/Serenity

After much feedback, and thread jacking this is now the home of all things Firefly/Serenity/Fray/Josh Weedon.
Specifically;
1) Forming a Firefly/Serenity cosplay group
2) Finding some time for yet another series marathon in our busy calender.
3) The learning of the firefly theme song, and any such alternative themes as may be approved by committee from time to time.
4) To study the "everything I need to know I learnt from firefly" poster.
5) To take the which character am I test http://seabreezecomputers.com/serenity/

I am trying to get a Jayne thing together, but it is harder than it looks!

PS. I have lent out my serenity comics, and think they are spoken for for a while, as my whole book club want them.

Jane did this heist, and on the way out got shot at, and spilt the gold over the side of the flying thingy. The townspeople,being oppressed as they were, grabbed the gold, and errected a statue to Jayne.

Much later the crew of the firefly gets a job there and a odd episode begins.

O.K. Lets learn that song too.

I also like the river dancing scene in Safe.

And then there is the whole Our Mrs. Reynolds. You know when they Mal starts off in a floral bonnet and shawl, with Jayne as his husband that it is going to be good. But then come crazy woman! Boy is she crazy. Seeing Mal, and everybodies reaction is interesting.

Then the next episode is Jaynes town. DVD 2 is great. Starts with the Ball, then the above three episodes.

So I think I gave up watching Firefly as it was early hrs of the morning and others kicked us out of the TV room (at Uni trying to to a Serenity/Firefly marathon). So I haven't seen all of it. But my fav quote is someone saying very deadpanned "Oh God, Oh God we're all goin' to die." I believe it's at the very beginning of either the movie or the series.
