Christchurch Cosplayers??

Hi! To all Chch cosplayers, are u interested in getting together one day and go ice skating in our cosplays? lol it's just a thought that has been lurking at the back of my mind recently =3 nothing's been planned yet, and I thought it'd be interesting if we could record a lil video or something of characters ice skating =.=;

it's just a thought, anyone interested?

ice skating?
OH LOL, yeah we're gonna do bowling I think, I'm going as Naruto cause they were gonna give free naruto cards out at this place. But we're doing that next week... I think.

Anywhose, I wanted to go ice skating as Hitsugaya cause lol he's ice man. Well not really but whatever.

I'm keen for anything ^^

I haven't been skating in years, actually I'd be afraid of falling and destroying my cosplay... and also cause like my clothes are a bit longer then me and I'd probably trip over them. Hahah, I couldn't get up those stairs at geddon, I like had to grab my pant things up to climb them ><'

I was only planning on going in for some photos, not actually to skate... I wonder if they'd even let me do that oO ...

btw, what are people planning to do during the southern picnic? do they sit around and eat ^^; or do other stuff? I'd feel SO self-concious ae =[ *gasp* what if people come to us and chase us off just cause they think we are crazy! D= *paranoiamoment*

Cosplay DDR would be awesome, I'm always up for Cosplay DDR. Ice Skating not so much, it would have to depend on the cosplay, I would never cosplay as Zero and do ice skating, as it was a very expensive cosplay and I am already scared of ruining it when I just stretch my body.

Something like Seishirou on the other hand I would't mind.

Yeah, well it is a picnic, we sit, eat have picnic foods, then play games. Actually I was gonna start a thread soon, but eh, its up to you guys what we wanna do, do we want to have competitions with prizes? Or without. We can go for a walk around the park, or into town, then just hang.
Lol, people aren't just gonna chase us off, as long as we're not doing anything tooo crazy and loud we'll be fine.

Laser tag sounds fun, instead of wearing cosplay to laser tag could just have a sewing party before or after would that work, cause some peopls costumes are so delicate and laser tag / ice skating are definitley not clothing freindly.
