Anime Party RGU

I have been tricked into buying Revolutionary Girl Utena, the entire series. So sometime after the 18th of July I will have a screening day, with me, Sakura_Petals, hopefully Agate (whom you all probably don't know) who are both mad on the series. I can fit another four before resorting to the floor, or squashing people up.

We shall see. Although it can't be hard to be better than the movie.

I thought the movie was extremely trippy, it was like the creators were on crack.

I am assured by a ~~semi~~reasonably trustworthy source that the series, cause it tells the story much longer like, is actually good and followable.

So come and see for yourself.

(sorry SP but most of our tastes seem to be similar, but not all. I think I trust you on this one, after all I did buy it.)

If you don't want it after watching then I'll have it!!! Besides the songs are great!! Have most of them on my ipod and 1 is great to get people to sing for the first time. Also why are my tastes and trust put in doubt every time you mention who recommended it? gonk

Well like I said I think I will trust you on this one, at least enough to fork out all that money, and spend all that time watching it! But lets say I draw the line at Rainbow Bright and My Little Pony. Also between you and anna giving opposite advice on Azumanga Diaoh, and Fruits Basket I just don't know who to believe.

Anyway dates. 25th/26th July, 1/2nd August and 22nd//23rd or 29th/30th August.

Pick two dates so then I can book my shifts/events for the next couple of months.

Boy between SCA\CCC and St. John I will have no time to myself.

Well if you want I have Fruits Basket if you want to watch it and make up your mind. I think dates should be somewhere in August as I think most of July is booked up with events....

I personally liked the middle dates, it gives people enough time to write it down in their dairies etc. But then I'm only 1 person so others might feel differently.

Well it looks like this is pos-tposed until after the first of September as we are missing some key people. However would still be keen to watch anime (or Firefly/Sci-fi) tomorrow afternoon or evening if anybody wants to.
