veey well... but i am a level 1 me thinks...

I wrote one story (which i never finished) for fanfiction.net and i got some qood reviews (people asking for more) but due to my ability to write and not having time i never finished it...

on another note, claire if you're still wanting help judging i'd love to help out ^_^
*tho i shall be slightly biest if someone does a Hermione*Draco Fanfic

Oh, just want to check.

Is yaoi/slash/yuri/femmeslash acceptable?
I know some people dont like it/are offended by it, so I just want to make sure its okay to write it.

Think we are all going to vote together. Though will need somebody to help when the time comes along to find and post all of the Fan- Fictions in the artist gallery. Maybe ?
But voting together sounds more - together-ish. Like we are apart of this together ^^ and less don't know- forced and controlled ?

Yaoi and yuri is also a more sexually bent set of terms.

Shonen-ai and shojo-ai is the less erotic version, if I remember correctly.

(Shoujo = girl, shounen = boy, ai = love)

Slash was originally a term for non-canon relationships, usually between two male characters and is characterised by the forwards slash placed between the two names denoting the two as a pair.
It is now commonly used to denote any male/male pairing (or female/female pairing in the case of femmeslash) regardless of the sexual content OR inclusion in canon. //end semantics

Sorry, but I'm so used to being able to catergorise my male/male ship that's never going to happen and is perfectly g-rated as slash, so it's a bit jarring to see it immediately dismissed as R-18. (That and I sometimes even use it to describe my crack het-ships.)
It's also one of the few terms that I know of to describe the mechanics of a ship that is English fandom-derived. I hug it and treasure it's meaning and makes me sad when people use it the wrong way.

But I'm perfectly fine with yaoi and yuri being defined as sexually-explicit material with m/m or f/f relationships. And shonen-ai/shoujo-ai as non-explicit m/m or f/f material.

Though I'd be level 1. I've written a story before, which is on haitus at the moment, but got pretty good reviews....

Are we allowed to just submit one that we're doing already, or are we meant to start from scratch?

Also, I can see where you're coming from with the FF.net thing (if people have joined or not) but there are lots of sites where people can post fanfiction and have lots of people read it~ some people just don't want to join FF.net 'cause they don't like it.

Maybe I think if you join levels 3&4 it'll be okay?

Another place like FF. Net can count. Like even if you post Fan- Fictions on livejournal in can still count as a level upgrade. Just meant that you post your Fan-Fictions publicly online, used FF. Net because it's widely known.

You can only choose one level but if don't match any of the levels there is always Pyro Rank or you can bump yourself up a level or down a level depending on how you feel and/ or your confidence level.
