It sux! Big time! My birthday is close to xmas AND new years! sigh

It sux for these reasons:

1: Combined presents stare

2: Everybody goes away on vacation at that time of year so I can't have a party or celebrate because there's nobody to do it with! This is the worst part. :sadcry:

Even my own parents take a vacation, although I don't blame then because they only get 2 weeks of work over xmas and most of that is spent preparing for xmas etc...

3: Everything is still closed! I'd love to go somewhere fun for my birthday for a change but most places I try are shut for the holidays! stare

4: Everybody who is not away on holiday is generally just too exhausted from xmas or too broke, too hungover or are busy with holiday plans etc or whatever. stare

5: Xmas and new years overshadow my birthday. It would be nice to have party decorations instead of xmas ones, a birthday cake instead xmas cake and to just have my birthday be about me for once. But there's always that xmas/new years/holiday feeling still lingering in the air. sad

I normally spend my birthday alone as a result ~~and not by choice~~ I hate everything about my birthday, it sux. I envy people who don't have a birthday around xmas, they seriously don't know how lucky they are.

Although this year my birthday was good for once because it fell upon the same weekend as the SCCC so I got to spend it with people and have fun, that made me so happy! Very Happy

~~Even if I did have to share it with yet something else lol~~ It'll fall on that weekend next year too so I can't wait! Very Happy

~~Omg! I'm actually looking forward to my birthday for a change!~~

I have thought about having a half birthday, in other words, a celebration with family on (Or around) my actual birthday then having a birthday party later on in the year. That way I could finally celebrate it the way I want and not miss out but I don't if people would accept that. sad

I would probably feel a little guilty ~~even though my ex always gives me a half birthday present halfway through the year!~~ sweatdrop

But it would make my birthday much more pleasant but I dunno, something to think about I guess. :think:

If you are doing custom made tickets then I'd love a pink one with a rainbow on it please? ~~No not copying Misevee but my username does have the word rainbow in it so I figured it was appopriate and pink is my favourite colour~~ But I'm really not fussy.

My Mum's bday is the 27th of Dec, but we (my sisters and I) always give her something for it and xmas, the only problem is that it's wrapped in xmas paper! Another great thing about my family is that our bdays are all 1/4 way through the year (ie March, July, September and December) so we always have something going on. Anyway back on topic: I have to figure out when I have time to get my dress drycleaned - anyone know how long that takes to get back? I've never had to deal with that before.... Also are there any more events before this? I know that money can be tight when dealing with these things and I feel bad about paying on arrival.... Maybe we could have a quick sewing thingy before if it's needed? Just a thought.

Until they reschedule the Mid Winter Christmas Party I assume not.
The agents will have signs detailing this. But I think you drop off before a certain time, they will have it back the next day, or maybe two days at the latest. If you drop it off direct to a dry cleaner in the morning then it should be done the same day. Doesn't the hospital have an agent?
I think a quick sewing thing is probably good sometime.

hah okok so her uncle or older brother *imnotsure*
was an x japan fan and tora picked up on it at an early age
and til this day she still adores them. when we met at chchgeddon
she showed me her hide shirt and i gave her a hug.
no words were necessary xP
