Hey, the name's Sam. Most people usually just call me Mui, online or offline. I'm the Vice President of the only (last I checked) Anime group based in Ashburton. My friend Sam W (known as Wookster around here) showed me this place a couple of weeks ago, but since I had a dead computer at the time, I could not join. If anyone knows the AMV maker BlackOps, I also designed his logo. I hope to get along with you guys since you seem like a good bunch.

I used to live in Methven, which is like the annoying preteen brother of Ashburton... I would never have imagined an anime club in Ashburton though.

Neither did I. The group was founded in 2005 and is still going to this day. We have Meetings every Saturday.

What? Putting glasses back on is a pansy pose nowadays? A blue suit and a switchblade's what I'll need. Sadly the latter is considered an illegal weapon in this country.

Never too old. Not sure about requiring balls just to have fun. Of course it' not some peoples idea of fun.

Any weapon, even trainning ones are discouraged in cosplay, so the switchblade should be a fake. Thus not illegal.

You should join the Cosplay South Island usergroup to find out whats happening. They have a thread on a road trip from ChCh to DnDn if you are interested (EBOJ or something like that). Might also pay to join the ChCh usergroup as it is close enough to come up occassionaly.

Wookster's told me about the Chch group. He went there when he was living in Chch. I'm gonna try and talk to John (our President) to get us to go up there and meet them.
