... I plan to buy my DO cosplay (SIMPLE FTW - I went hat window shopping today, I found one too 8D. IF ONLY I HAD MONEY *cries*).

ACB should be simple.

Auckland ... Well ... If I get there ... I haven't started 8D. I don't plan to for a while either (I have a good reason too. I SWEAR Dx).

I have two options for my DO cosplay. Either I recycle Bulma, or I quickly shove together a Sayounara Zetsubou Sensei school uniform - I already have the skirt. Either way, I am HALF DONE for DO.

ACB, I just need to sort together some accessories. A choker, a mask and I think I am also making a sceptre but I'll check and make sure. I hope I can afford this. ><

Aaaaand there is no way I'll be able to make it to Auckgeddon. 8D

Its a 18cen pet-en-l'air! That is going to take me a while, have to make 18th cen. stay, 2-3 petticoats, plus the actual skirt as well as the pocket hoops and the bodice...fun fun Very Happy

I have.. Um.. Decided not to come on Sunday? Does that count as progress?? XD
I have attempted a skirt for Sat. Didn't work. Gave up.
I have almost decided not to come on Sat as well.. XD (mainly because I have work, no annual leave, and wigs are expensive)

BUT! My Monday one I am DEF doing! I have the wig nearly on order, the skirt done (cept button fell off *facepalm*) the top isn't done.. nor shoes. But that's all I need to do! Very Happy

I'm making my ball dress atm, so all else is on hold.

Also I am now a bit stuck on progres until all the stuff I've ordered actually arrives. Mostly it's the patterns I need OMG!RIGHTNAO but more boning would also be nice. And wtf is with EVERYONE in wellington running out of 15mm black satin ribbon?! This is insane! Who bought it all?! OWN UP. I NEEEEED IIIIIITTTTTTTTT.

Static, I feel your pain! I basically went through all the stores on the north island (either in person or by phone) to try and get more green ribbon for my Ciel. Of course there was plenty of a different width, but somehow the one I had been using became imensly popular or something wtf.

lol i feel all your pain when i ran out of ribbon for suiseiseki ... and geoff's didnt stock it anymore and i had to go all the way to manukau spotlight (7stages D8<) just to get it at like twice the price ...

This thread of "OMG WE'VE GOTTEN NOTHIGN DONE" encouraged me to go out and hunt some of my stuff down... Neither of the stores in Wellington CBD have what I need. UGH.
Off to Spotlight and Fabric Warehouse after Japanese tomorrow...

Does it count as progress if I bought a wig? That isn't really for a cosplay I was intended on doing but might anyways....

Static - Yeah I did! I only know of that one and Aurthor Toye or whatever it is called on Willis... They do have an awesome selection but alas, most of it was knit and none was bright orange such as my costume requires. Are there other fabric stores in the CBD? I can only think of that one in the basement on Willis Street with the food court... I've never been in there, but such a rainbow of fabrics whenever I walk past!
