When will higurashi no naku koro ni be released over here!? I've been waiting wayyyyyy too long :I

I've been waiting too! Anyway, after scouting numerous game, JB hi-fi and borders stores, and the internet, the only conclusion I can draw is that it is not available in NZ. I can't find any release dates for the anime, even though it's already been licensed and badly dubbed in America.

I bought the manga(the 1st 2 volumes which have only onikakushi-hen) on an overseas trip from barnes and noble, but I think the best way to get your hands on it would be online wholesale anime retailers. :sadcry:

Each volume is is $24-26 each and shipping is $6... but the art is a bit amateur and you can read it online first to see if you like the way they did it- the "USO DA!" looked really good in the manga in my opinion.

But no anime yet...
