hi i'm still realativily new here and i don't fully know the cosplayers in this area but i know ur out there cas rozee told me!
so i thought we could do a group into here and talk about meet ups and stuff-ness that i will be dragged alone to anyway but would like to be told of before hand!

My parents were a bit confused at first but now mum goes around saying stuff like...

Okay this is how it goes. Imagine a sort of fancy afternoon tea bore fest.

Mum: Oh yes, my daughter is into this coss-play where she dresses up from... Ah, Japanese cartoons.
Me: *pipes up from behind sofa* And video games! And other cartoons!
Mum: Yes. Those too... Rozee, darling, what are you doing behind the sofa?

Thats how she says it too. Coss-play.

Ahahaha that's hilarious! my mum doesn't understand it all, i want to collect anime dvds and anyway she tells me not to buy them becuase she will download them off the net instead. i roll my eyes. WTH! she just doesn't understand =.=

My Korean friend's parents call it cost-play. They can't pronounce 'cosplay'. I find it hilariously fitting xDDD. (Cost-play ... So true, so true Dx.)
