Hey all!! I'm Calie. I was introduced to anime and manga during my uni years and now have a nice little collection going on! I also love planning and making costumes. I have only just clicked that I can combine the 2 loves, thanks to Armageddon!! I'm looking forward to next years' Armageddon where I'll hopefully be in cosplay for the first time.

We have a cosplay club so you could always come and join us for random funs and games, you also wont have to wait until the next armageddon to cosplay thumbsup

I found you from people talking about it at Armageddon - esp at the games part and at the cosplay intro talk (also talking to one of the mods flatmates about the site and the CHCH club). I'm thinking and planning to make Sakura's last battle costume (the one in my avatar). I've got the majority of it planned but still need some help figuring some of it out - will probably post a help thread later. As for the club, sounds great!! But I don't have any costumes (possibly have an old Rainbow Brite costume somewhere) to wear.

You dont have to cosplay to attend any of the club events although Rainbow Brite would be epic!!! Clap

That's good to know!! Yeah the Rainbow Brite costume was one I pieced together from different patterns and imagination. I just need to make shoes and hair and it's done. It was for a theme night at the halls of residence I was at a few years ago (theme: childhood hero). Though now looking through pretty pics of other costumes I might need to change a few things to it...
