Hey i am cosplaying Sokka from avatar and i need a little help with his boots.

Any of the boots he is wearing are good, I would prefer those worn by the sokka at the far right. I just need some advice on weather i should try make them or if i should buy them.
If i should make them could you suggest how or a possible site or other venue where i could find out how to make them.
Particularly the soles.
I am not too restricted by budget but i would prefer not to spend too much money.

make them. they look fairly easy to make, just add a "hidden" zip somewhere so taking them off is easier//putting them on, sorry i don't have much advice~

I live in one of the not-so-good places in NZ, so I can't really say, but I'm guessing knee-high mens boots would be hard to get in NZ.

As Rei said, boot covers would be good. Also for the others, make the greaves/shine protectors (the light brown pieces) seperate from the boots - It'll be less restricting around your ankles.

Try getting material from a furniture store, they sometimes have cheap vinyl off-cuts
