Im so useless

Gah, i finally figure out what i want to do for amageddon, mokona, tails and possibly starkiller (heavy training gear) and now i realise i dont have a clue how to make them.
if anyone can suggest what to do in terms of materials or just how to actually design the things (i is a noob to cosplaying sad

) that would be appreciated

There are millions of resources out there, in books, online tutorials, forums- the hard part is finding the one you need.

1. Analyse the costume and break it into steps. It's daunting to think "how do I make a starkiller costume" -start with "how do I make a cape?" "how do I make gauntlets?" then break it down again "how do I stitch" .

2. Find someone who has cosplayed the character and flick them an email. Most people are delighted to tell you how they made their outfit, or answer any questions you have.
