AMV contest winners for '09 + Cosplay comp. questions

I haven't been here for ages and the first thing I do is post questions for my friend... sigh

Anyway, he's anxious to know the winners of this year's AMV contest. We were able to find three videos on the Armageddon website, but no clues as to whether they placed or not.

Secondly, I'm trying to track down the cosplay competition rules. The official website seems to take down these things after the event rather than leaving them up for people planning for next year.
Looking for height/width restrictions mostly and we're already aware of the no metal weapons rule. (I know the rules change from year to year, but a general idea of what they have been in past would be good.)

I've never seen any height/width restrictions on the rules, and I read them repeatedly for my prep each year Very Happy

But in terms of width and height and weight and delicateness, you gotta remember that you're trying to shove through several thousands of people and the judging may be upstairs (was this year).

They probably come down in the gaps BECAUSE they change. Next one is Auckland and there are going to have to be major revisions for that to include The Aussie (TM).

I still think what my friend is planning is CRAZY, but it's at least not ONE bulky bit, just lots of them.

I was vaguely cozignant that they probably had to renew them for the upcoming events, but it is rather annoying they don't have an archive of the rules of previous contests.

This years Armageddon Melbourne winner is coming to Auckland to compete against the Aucklanders+anyone else who can afford the trip.

Placing of the AMV Contest is as follows:

1. AMV Nonsense (2x2 Shinobuden) and/or Blood Sisters (Ga-Rei Zero) (Same person put in two AMVs, I'm unsure which one of them placed)
2. Beneath my Skin (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
3. Fix You (Tsubasa & xxxHolic)

Aww so I really didn't win anything sad

oh well. I don't suppose anyone knows what the judges thought of my amv do they? I'm still pretty new to this so i need all the feedback I can get. (my amv was the ranma 1/2 one)
