| Got2bGlued stopped getting made, so you can't buy it anymore. But you USED to be able to buy it at the supermarket ;DD. *does not help at all* |

| Yeah, something like that. I haven't got a clue what the replacement prodect was. A google search would probably tell you though. |

| If you are spraying wigs, then just use the cheapest largest bottle you can find. |

| Okays I use Schwarzkopf's Hair Styling Lacquer no 5. It's silver and purple and about $6. Currently it's holding Seymour so I think it's the replacement =) |

| I heard somewhere that a mixture made of PVA glue and water worked just as well as Got2BeGlued. (: http://kellyjane.deviantart.com/journal/23743145/ Well. As long as you don't plan to wash the spikes out, I suppose.... /shifty eyes. But cheap hairspray would work. =D Less of the nutrients to protect hair and more glue. |

| The equivalent of got2bglued is 'Taft full on spiking glue'. You can get it at the supermarket. Personally I like using hairspray XD |

Re: Got2beglued? By Cap'n Crunch. 10/04/09, 11:28 am |
| I just use TRESemme extra hold salon hair spray. That works just as well as anything. That and a heavy use of a hair dryer. It was enough to keep my Jimmy Urine hair spikes in at Armageddon Auckland '08. They were about 20cm spikes too.
Pretty much comb it into clumps, spray evenly, blow dry for about 2 mintutes on the hottest setting right up close. (Use in a ventilated area in case of flamibility) Then spray again for finishing coverage and blowdry again for good measure.
I tried that Taft spiking stuff, but didnt get very far. It was very thick and all I could get was glued together fingers. I imagine it would be quite good, if only I could get it to my hair. |

| The glue would be good for the tips of the spikes, just to hold them together. :3 for the main spikes, hairspray's the way to go, imo |

| I use Blackadder Lacquer when I do Demyx, it's good because your hair stays reasonably soft, so if the whole style goes a bit South, you can just whip out a comb and redo it back up. Note this one though: NEVER use Garnier products. caps and all. it goes clumpy and glues your fingers to your head and, after prying your hands out of your hair/wig/whatever, you find it looks like a bad case of dandruff. |
