Maybe spoilers? Its all unofficial and unreleased, but dont say I didnt warn you if you accuse me of spoilering.

Apparently, SASUNARU IS GOING TO BECOME CANON.

Quote :: "Masashi Kishimoto, creator of Naruto, who openly declared that he liked shounen-ai, his favourite pairing was SaskuexNaruto and that he was going to give the manga an end of that nature. Though it's going to be an open-ending, it will be preceptible that Sasuke and Naruto end up together"

Mini-conference - ExpoAnime (USA):
"A group of fans asked Kishimoto what he thought about the doujinshi and fanfics of this pairing. He simply responded that it was his favourite pairing and that he always collected stuff of it. In addition, he stated that he wanted to give the manga a Shounen-ai ending" (confirming it twice)

After the interview, Kishimoto revealed that Sasuke was based on his best friend from High School, whome he admired and loved very much, and that Naruto was a reflection of himself and the adventures he would have liked to experience when he was young. He also emphasized that in the series there is not a love triangle, but rather a circle, like a fish biting its own tail. Naruto like Sakura, Sakura love Saskue and Sasuke has special feelings for Naruto. However, he ended the note saying that Shippuden was going to be mainly about the fights and character development.

Anyone else freaked/awesomed out by this?

I remember seeing the first quote floating around back when I started reading Naruto, which was about when Shipudden started so yeah. The second is recent, and there's been more people getting into Naruto lately, so it's possibly just the newer fandom fangirling over it likes it's new

Kishimoto says that he gives his fans clues by pictures before the chapters on what is going to happen..

On one Shippuden chapter it shows a picture of Sasuke and Naruto standing together, both looking up and wearing heart shaped necklaces of each other, Naruto is wearing a heart shaped necklace of Sasuke and Sasuke wearing one with a picture of Naruto.

If Naruto does end up becoming a Yaoi manga, wouldn't really mind..

Read it~~ The anime is good until about episode 12x ish... Cos they decide to go MASS FILLER on everyone's asses... People still fondly watch the anime though~ So I'm just biased...

The manga, on the other hand, is quick-paced and very nice to read =D

um about the sasu and naru wearing the heartshaped necklace with
eachother on it, my japanese friend knew that i like naruto so she send
me a movie entrance gift from going to the naruto shippuden movie in
japan...and it's this necklace that looks like a guitar pick with this
kanji and sasu's head appearing at different angle...so i was wondering
could that chapter pic be just a promotion for this naruto movie? o.0
