I know, it's terribly off beat with scene changes & quite honestly, I just couldn't be bothered touching it all up to fit, at that time~ >.<'

That it was. Tester runs are fun to do~! (Fun fact: I have over a hundred incomplete AMVs on my laptop that I made to practice for the big time, and also to find concepts with the anime and the music that I could match up.

When you watch short clips of anime, you pick up themes better, especially if you do it whilst listening to music with deeper tones (stuff like Breaking Benjamin and My Chemical Romance work well in that way, as does Fall Out Boy... All have deeper meanings to their songs, that, when you watch things with those in mind, figure out nifty concepts for. ;)) and then you can apply those themes to cutscenes and episodes, and figure out which song to use where!

(Example- 'Zack's December'; while not particularly having anything to do with the exact lyrics in some phrases, is a song about loneliness and longing for company... Wanting a safe place to go home to... Things Zack is in desperate need of during CC, in both a mental and physical way. He's on the run from the military and can't go back to his own home, so he's not able to go home in that way, and his one last safe reprieve has finally given up hope on him, so he can't turn there. WOOHOO, THIS IS ME PROVING THAT THEME STUDIES IN ENGLISH WERE USEFUL!)

No. It fit, trust me :). I watch alot of amvs and that was one of the best ones I have watched that used wmm. Are you entering Wellington too?

@ Duckeh: Nope wmm isn't that hard to work after you get the hang of it. Everyone has to start somewhere. I wasn't ready to use the program that I used for my amvs at Auckgeddon and went effect crazy Embarassed

So far I have one 95% done (an FMA one; again) and another about a quarter done (FFVII:CC and FFVII: AC)

Your 'Into the Past' one was good. ~<3 I think you should enter that and another one, and then we can have a battle of the FMA AMVs~! xD

The FMA one I made took me three months, and, because I use WMM (I haven't the money to buy anything cooler than that, though I did have the trial version of Sony Vegas on my computer for a week) is really only based on the story it tells. ^^;;

I think I might enter 'Keep Me in Your Memories', actually. <3

I think you should still enter it, because it doesn't really matter what program you use. The ones that win often use wmm anyway Razz

True, true. xD The one I made... You just need to know Ed's name and it's automatically hilarious.

But yes, it wasn't a question of whether or not to enter it- it was a question of whether or not I should put it on the disc to go to Wellygeddon where talented people live and enter AMVs, or Christchurch where you can enter an AMV with like six scene changes and win anyway.

Duckeh, your AMV was pretty good! Despite what Pyro said, I really liked the beginning... >_< I think it's good to have some scenes -only a few though- that are a little off beat with the music to create contrast and interest... but that's just me. ^^;

I'm working on an AMV as we speak/type... Hopefully this time round I'll submit it in the right format. >_< GRAH. Oh well... If you were there on the second day of screening though, you would have seen it - yeah, the FFX one. It was also, my first AMV and in hindsight it is horrible, and I REALLY want to remake it. ;__; (link is here, if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/user/aurellion) Do you think that'd be allowed though? I mean, it's already been entered, but technically not entered as it was the wrong format - so if I were to remake it (I desperately want to edit some things.. >_<) would that be acceptable, d'you think..? I should probably ask ze almighty judges about this though. :)
