That's my line

| Can anyone explain to me why this line gets used all the time? I've always wondered what cultural reference I'm missing.
One character says something, and another character says "Hey, that's my line!"
Ichigo and Renji from Bleach use it all the time, but it's constantly popping up in other series too. |

| | I think it's used when someone usually was about to say it and they beat em to it xD Or it's something the character using the line normally says and were beaten to it. If that made sense xD |

| Hmmm... it sounds kinda like "Jinx" when 2 people say the same line.
Except that one person holds back, and then goes "that's my line!"... maybe because it would sound funny on anime with 2 characters saying the same thing at the same time. |
