Has this site been hit yet?

Prbably not but ima ask/tell anyway.

Some sites i usually goto had been hit by some idiot noob porno site damagers and alot of the forum sites have been hurt badly. Like posts have gone missing and members had been erased.

Has this happened for this site yet or are we lucky we're not american/Worldly

Yeah, know what you mean Rikashiku a Forum used to speak on a few years ago got attacked by that hacker that attacked the Forum similar to what you said up above, most of the information written down on the site went missing and was replaced by pornographic images, and he created fake people to sign up on the site so they now have one thousand odd people who don't actually exist or speak on the forum, it actually killed the forum, people were less keen to go online and the forum got clugged up.

We should be safe, but guess we should always be careful- just in case.

AFAIK, as we don't actually run our own forum, we'll be fine as long as forumotion is fine. We moderate the forums, but we don't actually do any of the programming or even have access to the programming ourselves - the most we can play with is the css. Forumotion does all the programming and whatnot -- so unless they attack forumotion, we should be okay. Aside from that, this is also a (in terms of the www) relatively obscure forum, so we're not exactly a great target. *shrugs*

Also: Unless you're seeing giant pictures of porn everywhere, I think it's safe to say we haven't been hit. Razz
