Well... Hi there cosplayers.

I signed up for an account here a million years ago, and re-discovered it as it seems this is the best way to get the low-down on what's happening and where it's at. Nice to see a forum that knows about NZ stores. Hurrah for no more "Oh, just go to Jo-Anne's!"

16 year old Wellingtonian cosplayer here, and -points to avatar- avid contact juggler.

Been cosplaying for -thinks- Almost four years now, with a marked inclination towards Kingdom Hearts cosplay. This year, I'll be prancing around as Christmas Sora and Link (hopefully, If I can get all my props done) at 'Geddon, and perhaps I might re-do Riku for Sakura Fest.

By the way, are there any other cosplayers out there who are cursing the fact that 'Geddon is before theschool holidays?

On the timing of geddon thing apparently someone else beat Bill to booking the venue for the usual timing, so he had to bump it forward to the new date. sad

Hi! I'm Lexicon... A newb... (Not a newt, though. Eew.)

Here in Auck-y-land we have Geddon in the labour weekend... (I think it's labour weekend.)

I'm kinda glad that Auckgeddon is after the holidays, though. It gives a bit moar tiemz for making your costume.

But it still would be nice as a before-school thang. But nooo... :[

I am fairly certain the nana con is too blame, that starts the week afterwards and we have booked alot of exhibit spaces around the city. i'll check with mum.

(Nana-con = quilt symposium, 1000 + "nanas" come to Wellinton for a bi annual event which includes five days of classes exhibits and other novelties. We will own the capital!!)
