anyone in town - a warning ~

If anyones going near Hagley, Hagley park and the surrounding areas, in the next few days ... please be careful.

Something happened and the area has become very dangerous ...
So if you're on you're own in that area, just be careful.

Apparently its trying to be kept quiet... so I dont actually know if this is going to be reported on the news or not (hence this thread)

but the school is safe, because they have got security at every entrance... its outside the school and all those streets ...

EDIT: Holy sh*t I have to go to Christ's College tonight for an information night for my school production. ;__; Fortunately I'll be with my friends... xD

I actually find this warning very useful, when I'm angry with everyone I walk there by myself, at about 1am, so holy crap I'm not going there for awhile.

Its around south Hagley... though I guess just be careful if you're in town in general.
Yeah you should be okay, specially if you're in a group. ^^

I edited my post cause I dont want to say too much ... if it is being kept quiet I guess there'll be a reason for it, also I am hearing everything through the grapevine.

I dont think there's cause for a really big fear (cause I think they would have it on the news by now it if was), but just t0 be cautious... thats why I thought about putting this thread up =3

I dont like town in the day alone, let alone night xD

You know I remember the old days where you could walk at like 2am down streets and all was fine and quiet ... not these days ;-;

i was never allowed to even walk 2 my friends house when i was little... now i just cant go at night.
cant believe this is here in our city tho >_<

Oh yeah I used to have heaps of angry walks.
I had a flatmate that I didn't particularly get on with. and I still owe him money so he still makes me angry Razz

kinda curious to know what it is we should be causous of, my art class were planing a trip down there tomorrow night to take pictures of homeless people so we could work on our 'night life in chch' protject lol
we got a massive bunch of us so was just wondering if its like "the grass is poisoned" like last year or "theres gangs who will shoot you" or if its like "punk teenagers mugging people and being violent" lol
that way we can decide if we have a valid reason to go to our tutor and be liek "oh yeah, soz cant do it bro, next week?" lol

I only know cause someone told me, this person knew only because it HAD to explained as to why there was so much security around... (there is more than one reason I haven\'t said what has happened.) But yeah Tobi, its people, not grass, people.

I dont know, some might not turn up, or some might just go about their normal day ^^
I mean afaik it actually hasn\'t been on the news or anything so maybe its not much as a threat as people have made it out to be? Remember I\'ve only heard from the grapevine. Well anyway I hope thats the case.

A couple of teenagers tried to set fire to a bus the other day. So everyone had to get off of that bus and go onto the bus I was on because they wouldn't stop even after the police had been called....xD
That's completely unrelated, but nontheless interesting.

I walk around town every morning and afternoon on my way to and from college. Everything seems to be fantastically normal to me. n_n I suppose the "dangerous" time is only really at night.
Though most people frequenting town at night are just 'cool kids' and drunkards LOL.
