I haz a sick (real nearly hosptial sick) But I do luckliy have a bustier I can drape fabric over and an uber awesome industrial overlocker so I will be able to do Ivy after all :) I have some fabric that will be ideal now that I have seen what you all are using :) It's a heavyish lycra rich knit fabric with very low sheen. Or some super soft and floaty brushed satin finish ditto but more like the leia fabric in my icon). Depends what hides the bustier lines best ;)
And I have lace appliques for the trimming. Hooray for using stash ;)

I just had a moment when I forgot I was sewing the lining at the same time as the dress...LOL

My original plan was to use stretch (*might* have enough left over from my GG leia...) but looking at the detail around HQ's hips, I'm not sure stretch will sit nicely? May have to play around, see if I can find something that will work...

I just fitted the dress better, though I should have done that before I put in the zip...LOL
I will need more "Support", but at least with my heels on, it looks awesome, and is the perfect length Very Happy

I would love to do Supergirl (which would be funny me wearing a blonde wig), not fussed with Vixen (even if I am the right colouring), but how about adding Raven??

Noo Zatanna would totally rock! You would look great as Z :) Supergirl would be awesome though and I do have fabric and the Overlocker Of Doom that would whizz up the dress in no time ;)

I made a bodice lining for PI. It's based on my Pink Diamonds bodice (if anyone has a spare $2,000 for the right ply ostrich boas I can get that thing finished again.....) and will bone it tonight with cable ties (brilliant stuff them) and cover it with my fabric. May just cut the skirt tonight too. Small plug:

Is anyone going to try for the colour grading in the cloth? I will if anyone else is otherwise will leave it off or it will look too out of place ;) Grommets are not going to be fun but not as bad as trying to get through stretch PVC.. oy that is a nightmare! Now to break out the eyelet poker thing and get to work!

In the images there are suble tones of colour used for shading effect. Poison Ivy has green in her skit for intsnace. It would require ombre dyeing and atm I'm not up to that ;) Am up to the eyeballs in ruffles!
