Brit gangster flicks

So - this is pretty much my favourite movie genre. And I think it is a genre - american gangster films are just not the same. Lock Stock, Snatch, The Italian Job, everything in this vein - is Good. Also anything with Jason Statham, because, really...PWHOARR.

Anybody else a fan of wordy, grungy brit crim movies? I know you are, really. I just want you to admit it. Yee-uh.

they are the man have you seen chaos rock and rollers and anything else by guy ritchie! and jason statham is the Man if only they used him as agent 49 in hitman the movie wouldnt have sucked

Hummmh. Guy-y movies tend not to be my thing, really, but I saw Rocknrolla (It pains me to type that ;-; ) and it was actually quite good. It was like, smart? Iunno, probably I'd enjoy more Guy Ritchie. My father is really keen on watching these kinds of movies with me, maybe I'll actually do it. Humh. Any recommendations for other similar movies?
