Has any one else been so torn??

Torn between who you want to cosplay and wishing there were more Geddons you could go to and more hours in the day?
At the moment I'm torn for what i want to do for my competition piece for Auckgeddon i was super keen on doing a Farscape group my boy was pretty keen on being john if I was Chi, but we finished the series and i was thinking about it and really except for the makeup it wasn't going to be dificult, and i like a chalange for Auckland. (as it turns out). i think the hardest thing was making a skit with out making it that borderline creepy fanfic kind of thing that and loosing enough weight!
so recently we've been watching Samurai pizza cats (english dub cos its tak) and i'm thinking HEY heres and idea. My boy is SUPER keen to be Guido (turns out samurai pizza cat fettish is a long kept dark secret of his) and i'm tossing up on either polly or the girl who fires the gun.... ive only seen 4 eps in about the last 15yrs... whats her name? i'm thinking of changing my tune and trying for a SPC group i mean armour is fun and i love cats...
I also half thought up a skit in the shower this morn

so pretty much the discussion is, a: should i change my ideas
B: does any one else get confused?
C:how many times do you change your mind before you settle on your competition piece

I too have huge problems deciding on cosplays. I have about 3 half-finished costumes in the cupboard, and I've changed my mind about 15 times so far for my ChchGeddon '09 competition cosplay. At this point it looks like it's gonna be Lulu from FFX - I actually had to go out and buy fabric today just so that I don't change my mind again.

(by the time you read this post it's quite possible that I will have changed my mind again)

I keep changing I always change but once I buy fabric no matter how much I want to change I won't because of my tight budget XD When I commit to a group I usually don't pull out because it makes me feel bad =P. Competition wise I usually do what I want if people join me awesome but otherwise meh ^_^
So looking forward to Seymour been wanting to do him for awhile now.

Oh yeah.Too many characters I love, not enough time/money/etc.

There have been costumes in the past that I have started and then
decided I no longer wanted to do them cos I had other ones to do, I was almost trying to do everything at once (I don't do that any more though cos it
hurts my bank account).

Usually I'll end up picking the character I like the most at that time, then go buy stuff so I can't change my mind. XD

Although I do still have several costumes I'm working on at once...but they don't need to be all done for the same event so it's ok sweatdrop

the good thing is, is i don't think I've committed to a group (there was a drunken discussion) but i think the person i was talking to already had a group. i will chat to them any way, i was looking at latex appliances for cat faces. oh it looks fun!!!

I don't think I'd go if it was a week long, just would be too exhausting and the same things over and over pretty much. 3 days for our geddon seems like a nice time, though a friday night ball/masquerade or something would be awesome for cosplayers =)

Part of me wishes that the Geddons were but I think I'd collapse from exhaustion, go broke or both if they were!

I think that the 3 day Auckgeddon is about right. Smile

There should so be a masquerade ball, I would love to go to one of those, it is my dream to attend one someday! chuu~!
