Otherwise, you could go for a full face mask which covers you and it doesn't matter if you wear glasses then.

A costume is a costume, no matter if you have a mask or not. I don't know what point you are trying to make there.

There are a ton of fictional characters with glasses but on the other hand if they do have glasses they usually have glasses that are a certain distinctive style or shape. So wearing your normal glasses as part of the costume if you are going to be picky on details could be another problem.
I wear glasses my self and generally I just go 'stuff it' and make a costume I want to make and dont' worry about my glasses.
