Paprika! Satoshi Kon is my god. By theromanticapple. 07/06/08, 02:30 pm |
| If you guys have yet to see Satoshi Kon's latest masterpiece, Paprika, you must AT LEAST go see the movie trailer on You Tube!
It's amazing and even more mind boggling than Ghost In The Shell : Innocence (And that already sent my mind down a vortex!).
I saw it during the international film festival in Wellington at Paramount, but I'm not sure if it's been shown in other theatres around NZ? I was hooked when the opening sequence started up, and Paprika is still number one on my anime movies list!!!! |

| Wasn't shown in the theatres that I know off, but I've seen it on DVD, was definitely a good watch. :) |

| I watched this last year at the Film Festival. It was a very interesting watch. I wish I had a dream-diving alter-ego. |

| YES oh man yes Paprika was just nuts and amazing. I didn't get some of it but I didn't even care. xD It was like one huge dream!
The composer allows free download of the opening song as well, which in my opinion is one of the best songs for any anime.
Shockingly, it's available as a regular hire at my local video store. o_o So nobody in Christchurch was an excuse not to have seen it. |

| I watched it yesterday! It was so incredible! Like sweet, sweet candy for my eyes. Amazing!
I love the random dream dialog like "I want to show you my gratitude" "Ooh! Is it square shaped?!" |
