Auckland Lantern Festival

So as Chinese New Year rolls around again so does the Auckland Lantern Festival at Albert Park

This year it is held from the 6 - 8 February 2009 starting at 5pm -10.30pm everyday

Cosplay is ALWAYS an option of course or you can just come in normal clothes or maybe even better if you have the resources you could come in a yukata (summer kimono) which would be perfect for the occassion. So how about it?

Who wants in? Should we go all three days or only one? If only one which day?

Hmm I might come. I might be going with my other friends though. We went last year and had a great time xD

I really want a yukata, but dont have one yet, so if I did come it'd probably be casual clothes x.X

Oh last year was full of fail, most ppl went home after the walk through town WTF????....

I won't likely be able to make the Friday (at best I'd be quite late), but I would be somewhat interested for the Sat or Sun~

oh right the gothloli meet~ heh sorry about that XD my brother got pissed off and I had to go home ...

though I'll probably get glued to someone all evening and yeah I think a weekend would be better =3

Really? Wow thats a tad fail. Me and my friends just got bored after an hour or so at the festival and then went and saw a movie! And then some of them stayed the night and we were up til like 2am =3
That was a fun night. Maybe I will organise it with them again.

Oh also a word of warning which Luke will verify... if I come, for the sake of yourselves, do NOT let me near the candyfloss...
