www.cosplay.co.nz Suggestions Thread

So, this first post I'll edit to include all suggestions suggested, but this is my suggestion:

Cosplay Classifieds Section
A section on the website where people can submit classified ads for different things, like in the newspaper. There can be different sections - commisions, wigs, looking for cosplayers, things like that. It can be done visually just like in the paper too - columns, maybe 4 across the page, and boxes with maybe an image of the costume or something for commision or cosplayer requests, and contact info, etc.

Also - my suggestion for the site would be to have a "stalk" option - like, you can stalk the site's members as if they wanted to disclose that information, they could link to who they are on places like dA, cosplay.com, twitter, Gaia, etc.

xD I realised that.

BUT! It would not just be part of the profile. Like, it'd be an actual STALK option, y'know, so you could actually stalk them and and-

I dunno about the stalk option~ I was just gonna let them put that kinda stuff up on their profile~ O__o
Though admittedly it would be awesome, it just seems like more coding for a silly reason~
Maybe I'll introduce something like that later on~ :3
Not all features will be up by next friday~ [When I'm performing the swap]
But the basic profile system will be && hopefully an awesomeful layout ++ Photo uploading capabilities~ <3 n.n

Oh yeah. I just wanted to ask if you guys could add the Anime/Manga of what each cosplayer is from, I mean, the 'Cosplayers Attending' list of the website. (that is, if you know where their from). I know a few Haruhi(s) and Hikaru(s), ESPECIALLY OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB!!

Apart from the 'cosplay.com' style thing with cosplay.co.nz (profiles+forum for all), what about giving anime/cosplay groups their individual subdomains and forums on the official forumthing - eg.

Auckland Cosplay Club (or whatever the collective ACP thing gets named as a whole) would get auckcosclub.cosplay.co.nz (or something) where they can put info about upcoming events, and perhaps a memberlist of the club, and anything else they feel like it (basically what you guys do with your LJ lol), as well as a section on the forums called "Auckland Cosplay Club" which they can moderate and develop themselves (add subforums, whatever they feel like).

There will be an option to contact me & request a subdomain that would also to be featured on the homepage.

So your saying give them a sub forum off the main forum to be admin to?

Yup! The way I was planning it was to have in the Events section of the forum a Forum for Wellington Cosplay Gathers, and then subforums for photos and suggestions -- and the same thing for Auckland Cosplay Gathers, too, and then the same thing again for any other subdomains that cosplay.co.nz gets.

And yay~ So glad that I've been telling people the right thing about what is happening with the website. o_O; XD
