I have just heard from the Reverend at the Hall.

We can go in at five. But the varnish is brand stinking new and may still be a little bit sticky, so we need to go easy on it. And we have a ladder.

Anyone and everyone who wants to help decorate/set up, feel free to come along from five - there is space to get changed and store your costume there.

ALSO - there is no guarunteed parking at the church itself - they are all leased out. But the street parking on the Terrace is cheap/free at that time on a Saturday.

I just thought of something. New varnish = NOT GOOD FOR POINTY HEELS. Actually, it's very very very bad. It marks really easily - shall we go sans shoes for an hour or so?

Well the varnishers have finished as of about 2pm. Apparently it needs 24 hours. I don't know about varnish but the rev said please go easy on it. I'd say go shoe-less as much as poss, until it actually becomes a costumes issue

Possibly during the setup might be a good idea. We don't officially start letting people in the door till 7.30 anyway. So if the organisers/setup are either socks/bare feet (socks on ladder could be bad), then it's plenty of time to dry.
